Get the current weather
The JAG Weather App shows the current weather in your location (Canada). The app gives you a list of locations to choose from for where you wish to see the current weather. The app also allows you to use the GPS on your device to get the current weather wherever you may be.
Built by Kids – This app was designed by three children during the global COVID-19 pandemic as a part of their home schooling. The project spawned from Grade 5 homework learning about weather systems. And from there the app was conceived.
Just A Guess
The best thing about the app, if you don’t like the weather, just refresh the forecast and you will have new weather to look forward to. But beware, some of the weather is pretty extreme! Between hurricanes and landslides and hostile dragon invasions, there might be the odd sunny day 🙂
What You Get
Current weather
The current weather is the only accurate weather in this app! Don’t get confused, it isn’t actually raining meatballs. Get accurate weather up to the minute, but not for tomorrow 😉
Just a guess
The weather is sometimes just a guess, so this app will give you just that. Once you see the forecast you will understand.
new forecast?
Don’t like the forecast? Just refresh it! Tap the big blue button for “New Forecast Guess???” and you will get just that. Keep tapping until you are happy with the forecast.
